SEOUL -- Singer-actress IU has released her new song, "above the time", a sequel to "You & I" released in 2011.
The 26-year-old released the music video for her new song via YouTube on Monday. The song, included in IU's upcoming album "Love Poem", was watched more than 550,575 times in less than a day. The new album will be released at 6:00 p.m. (0900 GMT) Monday.
"above the time" is the sequel to "You & I", IU's pop-ballad song released in 2011. The new song depicts a love story about a couple who appeared in the music video of the 2011 song.
IU had planned to release her new album on November 1 but she postponed its release after Sulli committed suicide on October 14. IU and Sulli had been close friends.
